Since I ran my first 5k last year during the Color Run, Ryan and I have been talking about doing a run together. And what better way to do it than at a Tough Mudder? Go here to see some awesome footage from a Tough Mudder. It's basically a 10 mile run, up and down a mountain (we did it at Northstar), and there are obstacles all along the way. Like what you may ask? How about jumping 20 feet from a plank into freezing cold water. Or sliding on your belly through water while live electrical wires hang down and zap you. Or scaling 12 foot walls? Yeah, fun stuff. A friend of ours has done it before and we decided to run it with him this year. We're already talking about doing it again next year.
Me, Ryan and Jason before the event started.
This is actually a picture of me trying to get up the quarter pipe. I'm down on the other end though. Hard to make me out.
We finished and got our awesome orange headbands!
After the last obstacle: electroshock therapy.

Muddy kisses!
We're almost done!
That's me and Jason running and almost done!
More muddy buddies!
I think I can, I think I can.
Ok, so this one is definitely in the wrong place. This is the start line and the chaos that ensues there.

Fun! I did the Color Run last year too, and just did the Warrior Dash last weekend, which seems similar to the Tough Mudder. Of all the races I have ran, and there are a lot of them, the Warrior Dash was my favorite. So, I am guessing you both had a lot of fun. Great job! (Oh, and great job getting a muddy kiss in).
