A couple weeks ago we went through a fever scare with Benson.  It lasted a little over two days.  The highest his fever ever got was 103.7.  But that was scary enough for me to start wondering if we needed to take him to the ER.  He had no other symptoms of being sick and his doc said it was a virus.  Needless to say, he did get back to normal.  Zoe never had a fever or ear infections or anything so I didn't know what to do/expect with him.  I learned quickly though and I am a pro at that whole rectal thermometer thing now.
Happy little boy in his train conductor overalls.
Kisses from Zoe.  She loves her little brother.
Those are his first two teeth coming in.  He currently hast 3 coming in on top.
She loved the Sponge Bob decorations on this cake for Aunt Dannika.
Party boy!  Benson has gone from doing an inchworm crawl/flop to almost full on crawling.  He is growing so fast and so quickly.  He's also started pulling himself up on furniture which, unfortunately, that he's had more head bonks than usual.  Darn that gravity!

He loves stairs. One time recently while I was in the kitchen, I forgot that I left the gate open.  I also realized that things were a little too quiet.  I checked on Benson and he had climbed up all those stairs you see in the picture.  He is brave and always up for a challenge.
Zoe is in full princess mode.  I thought we were going to have a tomboy on our hands.  Thanks to Disney, that's not happening.  Some of her current favorites are Rapunzel, Belle and Ariel.  Above is my attempt at giving her 'Punzel hair.  She has Belle and Ariel dolls (she calls them her guys) that she carries with her everywhere.  Snow White and Tiana are quickly becoming favorites.
Benson's first trip sitting up in a shopping cart!
We recently spent a Saturday at the Jelly Belly Factory.  Zoe loved it and can't wait to go back to the "jelly bean store."
Fairly typical of how Zoe's bed looks when she goes to bed.  She has to have her guys with her.  Dora is not a regular visitor.  If you can see, squished next to the wall, there's Ariel and Belle.  What Zoe's holding in her hands is what she calls "bath time Elmo."  It is actually a safety cover for the bath tub faucet.  I don't think it's ever been used for it's intended purpose.
The kids get to bathe together now!
 Gotta love family!
Zoe loves fire trucks and we recently had an opportunity to get up close with this one.  She was in heaven.  The fireman even let her sit up in the cab.
 Please note: Bell and Ariel.
At the park.  When it's not raining we have quite a few parks around here and we always have a lot of fun there.
Twice a week Zoe and her cousin Kira have play dates.  In between all the melt downs and the times when they're not sharing or trying to force the other one to do something, I think they have fun.

 I still see you!
 8 months in January!
I love my beautiful girl.

 Cute kids!
Over Christmas we were able to get together with Ryan's extended family.  Ryan has a special relationship with his Grandpa and was so glad that he was able to spend some time with him.
