Zoe's 2nd Birthday

I did my best at documenting Zoe's special day.  We celebrated her twice - once on her actual birthday and then again on the following Saturday for her party.

 Morning cookies for breakfast!

A little tummy time with her brother.
Opening her gift from great Grandma & Grandpa Nickel.
 I couldn't resist.

 Playing with the packaging.

Great Grandma & Grandpa got her a doll that comes with its own potty.
Here she is trying to sit on the doll's potty.

Oops!  How did he get in here!

 My silly little girl.
We had a Toy Story themed party for Zoe.  She loves that movie!

Opening presents!  Lots and lots of Toy Story goodness.

That is some fun wrapping paper!

Hmmm.... what to wish for on her 2nd birthday?
I think it's going to come true.
Yep, it came true.

So, we missed August

I really don't know how people blog weekly, if not daily.  I think I need to start scheduling it into my calendar so that it gets done.  I know there's non-Facebookers out there who are just dying to know the updates on the Nickels.  This one's for you.  Now let's get some pictures, and maybe video, up.

A little pool time in the back yard.  Zoe LOVES the water.
 Zoe also loves popsicles.
Zoe's cousin Kira lives about 15 minutes away so twice a week they get together for play dates.
Zoe also also loves cookies.  Geez, she really is quite like her mommy.
This little boy smiles to no end.  He makes me so happy!

Wrapped up in a blanket holding a toilet paper storage device.  Gotta love toddlers.
Honorary sheriff at the Sutter County Fair.
 Noticing the piggy's bottom.
 Honorary bike cop.
 At the somewhat-lame-and-overpriced-especially-when-there's-hardly-any-animals Sacramento Zoo.
Strutting her stuff in mommy's shoes.
 Aaaahhhhh..... spaghetti.
With her Super Zoe cape on, it's time to get down to business.
We go to the mall a lot to play.
And when the mall isn't an option, the bathroom sink works pretty well.
Benson doesn't do a whole lot of entertaining things right now, so just put up pictures of him lying around.  I'm enjoying the "Hey, he's still where I put him!" phase.
Mother hen and her little chicks.  Cluck cluck.
 Benson's baby blessing day.
A cute naked baby.
