Zoe's asleep right now so I better take advantage of this free time and throw some pictures up here. Ryan has decided to go back to school for a doctorate degree in clinical psychology. He's applied here in Sacramento and also in Phoenix. I'm hoping we get to stay here. It'll be at least a month before we hear anything. Please keep us in your prayers though. Things are a little tight right now, but we're definitely happy and thankfully healthy. There are so many people who have less than us, even when we feel like we have nothing. I am grateful for a loving Father in Heaven who watches over us, sometimes lets us struggle a little bit, but is always there for us. I know He loves us and wants our happiness, more than we do. Faith is a hard thing to maintain sometimes. But sometimes it's the only thing that keeps us going.
We got these shirts from my brother Jared. Mine says "Taco-Belle." Ryan's says "Hot-Tamale."
We put this headband on Zoe for Sunday, yet in this picture it looks more like a bandana. We lovingly call this her pirate picture. Arrggh, matey.
Zoe's Aunt Krista gave her this bear. It was one that she had when she was a kid. Thanks Krista!
When people ask who Zoe looks like, I like to show them this picture. Behind me is a picture of Ryan and his mom. Resemblance anyone?
Zoe is getting better and better at sitting up. She's not all the way there, but getting close.

We call this her Rainbow Brite outfit.
We started Zoe on solid foods when she turned 4 months old. It's been mostly rice cereal and she loves it. We recently started introducing pears and bananas and we might try peas tonight. She loves feeding herself and sticking the wrong end of the spoon in her mouth.
We love our little girl!

Wow! You look just like Ryan's mom! Just kidding. Zoe does look amazingly like her baby dad! She is super cute. Her blue eyes are awesome.

She is growing up so fast! Zoe is adorable! I'm glad you guys are doing well despite the challenges. That's exciting that Ryan is looking into PhD programs. We toy around with that idea still too sometimes. Who knows!

Wow. I haven't checked your blog in months and months, and here you are with a sweet baby who's already almost sitting up! I've been so out of the loop. You look so happy, and that baby of yours is just as cute as can be. Did you hear we moved to Scotland in January? Cool, huh. Thanks for posting such fun pics of your family.
