We've had kind of a weird winter this go around in Tahoe. The snow was lacking. Any snow is enough snow for me, seeing as how I'm not a huge fan of the snow. But with the drought situation here in CA, we did need the snow. It's been more like springtime up here, rather than the usual white world of snow that we got last year. We did get a good dumping of snow last week, but it's just about all melted now and I think springtime is in full force. Regardless of the weather, we are all doing well and enjoying life up here in the mountains.

Seriously, how do kids sleep like this?
We had an activity at church where we were taught how to make sushi. I had a lot of fun and it was so delicious!
It's a blessing to live in such a beautiful place. We took a family hike 2 weeks ago and enjoyed it all. The kids loved climbing on the rocks.
Happy outdoor Daddy.
We love getting out and enjoying nature together.
One day, on the way home from the grocery store, we decided to stop by the lake and get our feet wet. It was such a beautiful day.
And one of our favorite hang outs: Tot Spot.
Unfortunately, we did have a bout of sickness go through our house. It last about 2 weeks. I was the only one not affected by it. I'm grateful I was able to stay healthy and take care of all the sickies.
Our beautiful, smart and sweet little Zoe.
Despite the doubtful look on his face, he did ask for the orange bow in his hair.
